1. What this site is
Trading Education Platform System ("the Site") is an educational publication about how financial and crypto-asset markets work. It is written and published by Di Tavi Rocco Elio, an individual based in Italy (contact details on the About page). The Site contains lessons, written guides, browser-based calculators, a trading journal, and independent research reports on crypto exchanges, crypto assets and exchange-traded products.
Everything on the Site, in the related videos and in the emails we send is general information published to the public at large. It is not written for any particular person and does not take into account your financial situation, objectives, experience or needs.
2. Not investment advice, not a recommendation, not a financial promotion
- Nothing on the Site is investment advice, a personal recommendation, or an offer, solicitation or invitation to buy, sell, hold or trade any asset, product or service.
- We do not sell or give trading signals, price targets, portfolio suggestions or "picks". We do not answer personal questions such as "should I buy X" or "is Y right for me", in comments, by email or anywhere else.
- Scores, rankings, tiers, comparisons and labels (for example "evidence score", "rigor score", "cheapest", "largest") are editorial assessments of documented facts at the date shown, produced with a published method. They are our opinion about the evidence, not a statement about the future price, safety or suitability of anything. A high score is not an endorsement; a low score is not a warning to act.
- We are not authorised or regulated by any financial authority (in Italy, Consob or Banca d'Italia; in the UK, the FCA; in the US, the SEC or CFTC) and we do not need to be, because we do not provide regulated services. The Site is an impersonal publication of general and regular circulation.
- The Site currently carries no advertising, no sponsorship, no affiliate or referral links and receives no payment from any exchange, issuer, project or broker. If that ever changes, our Editorial policy will say so, with the date, and any commercial link will be labelled where it appears.
3. Risk warning
Trading crypto assets, futures, perpetual contracts and other leveraged products carries a high risk of loss. You can lose all of the money you put in and, with some products, more than that. Prices are volatile, markets can be illiquid, exchanges can fail, be hacked or restrict withdrawals, and crypto assets are not covered by deposit guarantee schemes. Past results, back-tests and examples do not indicate future results. Only risk money you can afford to lose, and consider speaking with a licensed professional before you invest.
4. Calculators, journal and other tools
The calculators and the journal produce estimates from the numbers you enter and from simplified formulas. Exchanges apply their own rules for fees, funding, margin, maintenance margin, liquidation and order execution, and real outcomes can differ from the estimates. Always check the figures on your own platform before you act. The tools do not connect to any exchange, do not place orders and do not hold your funds. See the Terms of use for the conditions under which the tools are provided.
5. Research reports (Exchange Rigor Report, Crypto Reality Check, ETF comparison)
- Every factual statement in a report is linked to a source and dated. "Not verified" means we could not confirm it from a source we could read; "none found" means none found in our search, which is not exhaustive. Facts, fees, registers and legal proceedings change; a report describes the position at the date shown on the page, not today.
- Statements about regulatory or court actions are reported from public records or press reports identified on the page. A guilty plea or a court judgment is reported as such; a settlement "without admitting or denying" is reported as such; an allegation, investigation or pending case is reported as such and is not a finding of wrongdoing; a dismissed case is reported as dismissed. Nothing in a report is a statement that any person or company has committed a crime unless a court or the person itself has said so, and we say where.
- Companies, projects and issuers are named for identification only. Names and trade marks belong to their owners. No affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement is implied in either direction.
- If you believe something is wrong, outdated or missing context, read our Corrections and right of reply page. We fix verified errors and we publish statements of reply.
6. Third-party sources and links
The Site links to regulators, courts, exchanges, issuers, data aggregators and news publishers. We do not control those pages and we are not responsible for their content, availability or accuracy. A link is a citation, not an endorsement. Market data shown on some pages (for example live prices) comes from third-party APIs and may be delayed, incomplete or wrong.
7. Regional notes
- European Union and Italy. The Site does not provide "investment advice" within the meaning of MiFID II or the Italian Consolidated Law on Finance (TUF), nor "advice on crypto-assets" within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2023/1114 (MiCA), because it does not give personalised recommendations. Comparisons of exchange-traded products are not a solicitation and are not produced for any issuer. The publisher is not a crypto-asset service provider and does not offer, place or distribute any crypto-asset or service.
- United Kingdom. The Site is an educational and journalistic publication. It is not a financial promotion and does not invite or induce anyone to engage in investment activity or to buy qualifying cryptoassets. The publisher is not authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority and is not registered with the FCA under the Money Laundering Regulations. If you are in the UK, be aware that most crypto assets are high-risk and that you are unlikely to be protected by the FSCS or the Financial Ombudsman Service if something goes wrong.
- United States. The Site is a bona fide publication of general and regular circulation and the publisher does not act as an investment adviser or commodity trading adviser to any person. Nothing here is an offer of securities or commodity interests. Crypto assets are not insured by the FDIC or SIPC.
- Everywhere. Access to products mentioned on the Site may be restricted or prohibited where you live. It is your responsibility to check the rules that apply to you.
8. Your responsibility
You are responsible for your own decisions, for checking any figure before you rely on it, and for complying with the laws, tax rules and platform terms that apply to you. We are not liable for decisions you make on the basis of the Site, to the extent the law allows us to limit liability (see the Terms of use; nothing in this disclaimer limits liability that cannot be limited under the law of your country of residence).
